CAMP SOLANA

Camp Solana is a mini-camp facilitated by Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Caitlin Anderson. 

Camp Solana is a hands-on, multi-sensory based writing (and pre-writing) camp. 

The goal of this camp is to provide your child with a sensory rich environment and developmentally appropriate pre-writing and handwriting instruction. Research indicates that skilled handwriting improves overall academic performance. 

Activities and lessons are designed to target fine motor, visual motor, and sensorimotor skills through movement, music, crafts, play, and more! 

The Handwriting Without Tears curriculum will be used to teach basic principles. 

Ms. Caitlin loves targeting the underlying skills needed for handwriting while having fun and seeing the big smiles from kids when they realize how far they have come.

Camp Solana is hosted at The Discovery School in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. 

Camp is hosted in week long sessions in June and July.
